Context is part of the task
A useful answer depends on more than the last question. It depends on what the team has already learned, what a project is trying to achieve and which decisions shape the work. When that context is hard to find, people spend time reconstructing it instead of moving forward.
Carry knowledge forward
Shared memory offers a direction for connected intelligence: retain the context that is useful, make its source visible and let the next task build on it. A project brief, a research finding or a decision can become a starting point instead of another document to rediscover.
Keep boundaries clear
Memory also needs scope. The right context for one team may not be appropriate for another. Access, ownership and the ability to correct or remove information should be considered from the beginning.
Measure usefulness
The question is practical: does remembering this information make the next piece of work better? Evaluate whether the context is relevant, current and traceable. A small amount of trusted context can be more valuable than a large amount of unstructured information.
